Hello everyone, I'm running a premium wordpress blog on self host. The problem I'm facing is if I check cache of my blog then it shows only the last post, however if I check "text cache" then it'll give me expected cache of whole page like all posts and widgets as well. Now, the questions is: Will this affect my website ranking in SERP's? The main thing is Yahoo & MSN crawlers also showing the caching of just last post as they don't show the text version..
no it will not affect....b'coz whatever the things are there in your website or blog which can be accessible by googlebot will be cached by Google. and in the general version of cache it will display those cached things. but under "Text-only version" option it will display only cached text part of your website or blog.
Thanks for the response seodilip but what about MSN & Yahoo crawlers as they never show the "text cache" version separately and in simple cache they're also showing only the last blog post...
I guess that different servers are use for that and in different times records are being placed there. So there is can be difference especially for the dynamic web sites.
~ServerPoint~, I think U didn't read the whole post. In brief: search engine bots are showing only last post with widgets, not the complete page but in Google "text-only" version it'll show all cached with footer etc. Will this effect my site ranking?
