Difference between Featured links Regular links

    Are you talking about in search results? If so then Featured links are Adwords ads, you pay every time someone clicks on your ad, its called PPC.

    To put it simply, the links which are paid for, to be put up at a prominent place to get maximum visibility are called featured links, while the links which appear at a regular place along with host of other links are regular links.

    All the directory listings have both these criteria very clearly listed out for you to easily distinguish! :)

    I cant imagine there being a great difference in terms of google value to your website, but some featured links allow more keywords so the quality of site traffic should be better, after all what what would you prefer 1 customer spending thousands or thousands of visitors spending nothing?

    Featured links are listed on the top of its respective category or any search result page at a link directory website. Regular links are placed automatically on the below of all featured links. Most of the link directory sites has a limited number (let's say 10) of featured links on each category. Web directories can have infinite regular links. So, if you submit your site to a web directory as a regular link, your site might not be listed on the first page of its respective category or a search result page when a term is searched by a visitor.

    Featured links are listed higher in a website's (or web directory's) page structure. So generally a featured link will have more PR and more exposure for your site.

    very simple featured links are paid links and get get high listed on any site. regular links are free of cost links and in mostly cases doesn't give you surity of any type of listing.

    If you're talkikng about google, the previous posts have answered.

    If you're talking about text link ads, well, one is premium over the other. =)
