Difference between De-index and Blacklist

    Hi Everybody,
    What is the difference between De-index and Blacklisting of a web site.
    What are the main causes for both of them?
    Any help will be appereciated..

    (Deindexing) It happens when Google or other search engine removes a site from their index.
    (Blacklist) List of IP addresses that are being used by or belong to organizations or individuals that have been identified as sending SPAM.

    I guess that both these definitions are punishment for illegal methods of optimization
