According to me a Website is generally owned by some companies, organizations etc. So it contains more professional and commercial or marketing information. Whereas a blog is like a personal diary which contains more detailed information regarding a person or a topic or Event.
In my own interpretation, a blog is an online page that presents information on specific topic or concept. It can be authored by one of more persons. A website is more vast in concept, more developed. Generally set-up by companies, organizations, also by individuals presenting information in a wide-range of audience.
