I'm just entering the internet arena and I was wondering what the difference between a blog and a niche website is. They seem to be about the same from what I've learned about them.
A blog is a type of website - sort of like a magazine. The niche is the subject that you write about in the blog. Niche websites are often targeting very specific subjects in great detail, with the aim of selling advertising and products relating to the niche.
The only difference is a Blog is a Website that is currently being updated with new content online and a simple Website, assuming you are talking about a Static Website Online, will be a Static Type Like Website - it doesn't get updated often like a Blog Site. A Sales Page or Website about a Product or Service are simple examples of "General" Websites Online. They look different than blog sites. A blog site is known to be updated every day, week or month.
