In blog posting you need to make blog first and then post articles in it while in article submission you submit your article in different article submission websites. Through article submission you can get back link from different article website which is hosted on different IPs but through blog posting you can get back link from different inner URL of one blog URL.

In article submission we post the article in article submission websites. They may need approval from the site to be published. There is an option to place links in articles also.
Both are main activities of OFF page S.E.O. For blog Submission first we need to create an account on Blog Submission website and write the content to post in Blog website like Wordpress or Blogger. Same with Article submission process we need to create an account on article submission site like Ezine and post written content for this. Both methods can provide backlinks to us and both has option to mention link of our website in the content.

The blog posting is just a commenting in a short word about your article or content. You can add keywords and url in it. The article posting is just writing a content with minimum of 5oo words. You can add anchor tag Both are very helpful in getting backlinks.
