Difference between backlinks and link popularity?

    Im a bit confused with the terms backlinks and link popularity. I thought they were the same until i came across this site where you can check your backlinks and link popularity.

    Can somebody tell me the difference between these two terms, if there are any?

    They are the same. The iWebTool Link Popularity tool shows you how many backlinks a site has, while the Backlink Tool lists the backlinks a site has.
