    contentads for adsense?

    or they both mean the same thing??

    you are correct
    contentads = publisher side (launch date unknown : 2007/8???)
    adcenter = advertiser side (launched already)

    microsoft are starting well behind YPN.

    2007/8 is an early estimate. Depending on how things go. Like Yahoo it might only be US only for a while. You never know.

    I think most publishers want to leave Google, its just there really arent any serious alternatives out there. Thats why google can treat advertisers and publishers like crap. Poor support, poor service

    agreed... google's got such a large % of the market on this but Microsoft's gotta do some serious homework to make it work. MSN's a third rate search engine behind yahoo/google so they need to either enhance MSN's exposure or tune up the contentads (eta '07/'08/'09) to lure advertisers to them...
