OK, I invite all of you to post your personal statement about:

What is difference between Militants and Freedom Fighters?

Please do not lead thread to any off-topic discussion. Let everyone of us know what other think about these terms.

    Thank you.

If someone occupies your country and you fight against them to free your country you are a freedom fighter,
if you just create terror/violence in the name of caste, creed, religion, money, publicity, party you are a terrorist.

They are spelled and pronounced differently. And one is easier for media sources like BBC to use.

What make you think that? I did not put forward my statement, so why would I say that I dont wanna hear anything negative?

Feel free to tell what you think about both terms. I just wanted the thread to keep on-topic i.e Difference b/w Militants and Freedom Fighters without getting involved in lengthy discussions or so.

So, what you think about above two?
