Hello Everybody! A much talked Adwords new Algo has raised many questions concerning the Ad relevance part of the forumla i.e Ad CTR . As fas as I am able to figure out the new ranking formula:Rank= max CPC * CTR (keyword) * CTR (Ad copy) where, Ad CTR is itself factored in Keyword CTR, Ad CTR is simply the quality of Ad text and its quality is based on the keyword density i.e. occurance of the seaeched keyword in the Ad copy and in the display URL (as endorsed by Adword Advisor). Now, contrary to what I have perceived, if we make a minor change in the Ad text for example, "If" is replaced by "but" then the CTR becomes "0" and suddenly suffers a setback resulting in lowering your position because it considers it a new Ad and therefore, has no CTR history. Please correct me if am wrong. Can any one explain this difference b/w Keyword and Ad Copy CTR more precisely? Thanks
