Diesel Hybrid Vehicles - Will they also Catch On?

Four years ago hybrid cars would rarely be seen in roads and freeways. But as more people noticed and realized the great advantages this eco-friendly cars offer, and the savings they get, more and more hybrid cars are now plying our roads. So much so that hybrid cars are now as mainstream as the conventional engine cars that we got used to. But, it wouldn’t be a surprise if new developments and innovations come out to further develop the existing hybrid technology or to provide new technologies. Will diesel catch on also?

Its a sound idea if you covert the diesel to bio-diesel. But since diesel costs so much more than gasoline, its not practical in itself unless of course they build a hybrid 18 wheeler.

Im guessing you mean bio-diesel. You can convert your car and get the veggie oil stuff for free from reasturaunts, but I bet they will start charging if it catches on

With petrol fuel prices skyrocketing (well it least good news is that it's going down these few days :D), people have started to look seriously into this one.

Before that, nobody actually cares about it.
