i got an invitation link days ago from Yahoo, but after I signed up, i didn't get that confirmation email. What should I do now? I even can't find any contact information of them from the website http://publisher.yahoo.com!
You will not get a confirmation email. YPN is on hold until further notice. This is just my opinion, but I think they have discontinued the program. I have seen evidence that their security system is unable to detect invalid clicks in some circumstances and based on what I have seen I would not recommend them to publishers or advertisers. Yahoo is a 2nd rate (or 3rd rate in some areas) service provider because they are great "out of the gate" but seldom finish the race. I point to Yahoo Auctions as a shining example. Remember, that was supposed to be the new auction site that took the net by storm and knocked eBay out of the winner's circle... well we all saw how that worked. Yahoo could not capitalize on the flood of people that were leaving or being kicked out of eBay. The same is true with the YPN program. They have completely dropped the ball on their PPC program and likely have no clue how to pick it up again. PREDICTION: The YPN program will fizzle out over the next year just like all of the well-intentioned but never finished projects that come form the Yahoo stable. SUGGESTION: Look for other PPC options like Adengage or PeakClick. The rates will be lower but it beats betting on a loosing horse.
