Google is always yapping about "low quality content". It looks like they are now doing something about it.

Scraping is out. Spun content isn't far behind. Unless you manually edit spun content, there are just too many variables to control in spinning in order to RELIABLY produce quality content.

IMHO Bounce Rate should increase if you get an increase of traffic from various sources, but if you stick to "traffic that converts" bounce rate should not change too much...

 

If you target relevant keywords and make sure your site is good, bounce rate shouldn't be a problem.

 

It factored in other variables. The set of 3 algo changes-- Scraper / Farmer / Panda didn't all adjust for the SAME issue. One focused on dupe content. Another on farmed links. The third, logically, focuses on content quality judged by factors other than duplication or PR
