I guess the only noticeable problem with Avatar, is a lack of original story. What you see on the screen will blow you away, but all the tough critics, may come down a bit on the fact that despite being the latest in film technology, Cameron uses a very old archetypal formula, perhaps just a bit too schematic. There are a few badly scripted segments of dialogue, but nothing that makes you wanna blow raspberries at the screen.

Saw it on December 18, the day it came out, in regular "Real D" DLP 3-D.

Next time -- I'm going to see it once again in 3-D on the super large screen IMAX theater in Sacramento -- $16 for a ticket!!!

    I saw it on 3D,
i really like it, the visuals are really wonderfull
and with the 3D view you can see the depth of the scenes
it is a great experience, although the story is simple it delivers.

The real entertainment to watching this movie is in 3D only. Must watch it in 3D once.
