For money of course. But i have gotten so fun out of it. I like learning new stuff. I love programming. So, this is a win-win situation for me.
i start sites which would help some one and i make something outa it, but those sites which i had kept free i realised i had to keep them paid , that would have done lot more good to them,
Yes, I also started my kids site for fun and within a few months I relaized the potential of the same when advertisers contacted me and asked for ad space. Now it is mix of both ie fun and money
i have a mixture of them some are fun/hobby sites i have tons of interest in and some are just their to make money and some are both!
I started by first website 5 years ago. The main reason was to learn html, webdesign. With the time, I changed the website to php and mysql. Until the last February, the website was hosted in free services and with no registered domain (only a free forwarder domain). Then, I payed for a hosting service and registered my own domain. I also added adsense with the objectiv to cover the expenses only...but with the time the objective has been reached. No I make money.
