Did you site experience MORE or LESS visitors during the Holidays?

I know all are differnt .

i.e. - Facebook traffic was really high.

 

Hi, I asked the same thing. See Has Christmas killed your organic traffic? It kind of depends on what niche you are in.

 

For me, traffic and sales are less from the end of November, until the 1st weeks of Jan. Then things return to normal.

Every time this year things seem to slow down a bit unless its a retail site

 

My ecommerce site traffic and sales jump during holiday coz many people ordering gift for their loved one.

 

I'd say it depends on the type of site, mine is an online games site, so according to my logs, the small traffic I do get has greatly decreased.

 

To my surprise my site has experienced more visitors over the holidays than before ))

 

Well traffic certainly decreases during holidays , even many forums like dp had less activity during the holidays.

 

Traffic for a few of my sites decreased during the holidays.

 

A lot less, in fact I hate all holidays because of the decrease in traffic I even lower my advertising costs during holidays since everyone is out buying things from the stores that are unrelated to my strictly online content.

 

I had less traffic but still made good sales.......
