Did you see this thing before?

I had a website, just 2 week,now when i use "site:domain" to search how many pages google has indexed,it only show me 20 pages result, but when i copy some page's url of my site to google,google show me the result about the page,so i do not know why this siutation happened?
Anyone can tell me?

Gooles results are not always correct. Use their webmaster tools for a more accurate representation. It may be the reason that they have put the pages you mentioned into supplemental results. So you might not see them.

 

Hey the same was happened with me. For some sites its show s different even in webmaster tools it's shows different number of pages indexed by google.

 

I have seen a video in Google webmasters in youtube and there it was told that Google never shows exact information because spammars may trace your work report

 

check in google webmaster tool. from webmaster tool you will get accurate results
