One of my sites lost all of its PR just after the last update, it went from PR4 to PR0, this was quite a widespread problem with other webmasters. Do you think Google will reinstate your PR during the next PR update? Please vote above. Post your thoughts.
what about your place in SERP's ? hits and SERP's are the only things that should matters... i lost 1 point (4 -3) but hits are now better than before. I never care about pr.
I lost some and gained others. Google knows what will happen in next update. I hopes are always positive.
My site that lost all its PR still has good SERP's which is the most important thing, This poll is more out of curiosity than anything else.
I think PR will back but lower than before. some of directories has been punishment until now PR don't get back
Out of 5 of my sites that faced the update in October - 2 remained same (PR6 & 4), 2 gained and one went from PR4 to PR0. Also few days back, the site that remained PR4 (my non-commercial blog where I only link my own sites) went to PR0 I believe - they will get their PR back-- may not be in the next update -but later on. Google is tweaking a lot with their algo and fortunately, most of my backlinks are result of hard- link-building efforts.
If you lost all your PR due to a "penalty" which is likely in your case, Google may not reinstate it on the next PR update (but if Google were kind enough...). Of course, submitting a "reconsideration" request to Google will increase the odds of it being restored, in fact, it can even be restored before the next update. *If you lost all your PR because you moved sites (but you aren't moving sites right?), the PR may get restored on its own.
Both of my sites (one started in August 2007, and the other in September 2007) both went from PR 0 to PR2.
The new pagerank update is here. My PR has increased. This time, it is the copycats who have suffered.
what ????????????? 3months ??????????????????????????? PR6 ?????????????????????????????????????????????????
Can we keep the thread on topic, as some sites have started to get PR updates it would be interesting if anyone that lost their PR last update would comment on if the have any or all of their PR back this update. currently my site in question that lost its PR is still PR0 but SERP's still going strong.
