Adsense is a complementary income and make less than 10% of my revenues. I own my business and have started online just to achieve that objective, not to stay at home lol. Pat
I can't , due to Adsense earing is just 0.001% of monthly income, how dare I do ? ^_^ I was shock first time i calculated and measured the ratio, Really can't compensate even one meal cost
it is not too bad as a hobby and some nice money for wine....... But sometimes wine can be very expensive.......... so it depends on what kind of wine you want ........... take it easy
No.. i dont earn too much from adsense. Its risky. No one knows when G will ban u even if u are nt involded in click fraud.
I left my day job because it was outsourced to India in 2003. Have worked for myself ever since. It has been a really tough road. Now my money comes from adsense, affiliate ads, writing, membership sites, consulting, mentoring and ebooks. NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. The only thing I never did well at was PPC -> ebook sales. TomG. PS - It sure stinks getting that health insurance bill every month...
I would like to dream of living my day time job and would love to do it soon. I f I an earn something in the six figure range and is sustainable then I will quit.
I'd never rely on Adsense for a living. It's way too risky no matter how much I make from it. It's nice side money for what I already do online.
Agreed. It's not a reliable source of income, i don't care how many blogs and websites you have. Programs change and adsense changes more than any of them, with the lowest payouts..and that fluctuates too. You can't count on who will advertise and what they will pay, or what adsense decides to pay you, for your income. You have no control....Google has all the control. You must diversify and learn more than one "trick" to make a living online.
I just received my first Adsense check after one year. But I've noticed that my traffic is picking up and my revenues are accumulating much faster. I'm not targeting Adsense as my main source of revenue. But its nice to have as a sideline. Olivia
Wow, this is an old thread! But, just to re-itterate: I was all set to quit my job.. These are my earnings for the last few years: 2006 ~$30,000 2007 ~$70,000 2008 ~$85,000 ... all ready to quit my job right? WRONG!! at the end of 2008 things changed.. now, I will be lucky to break $30,000 for 2009.. I'm GLAD i didnt quit my job.. it's just too volatile ..
I will leave my day job and only work for on-line earnings, when i will be able to earn $3000 per month.
