Did you know that I am the original owner and original domain registrant of the web directory King of the Web? I'm sure you have heard of it, as many webmasters I have came across have. It surprises me to think that one of my domain names, my original idea, has gone completely successful in the hands of another webmaster. They are still even using my ODP script that I included with the original sale long, long ago. My original intentions for even registering the domain was to create a search engine and directory portal...looks like the new owner just went with half my idea: a web directory. Interesting, though.
Well, I did not know that. This shows that any website can be successful if the webmaster spends enough time and effort on it.
That is why I don't sell my domain names. I keep them as much as possible because i might think of something new in the future. I prefer to pay the $5 year fee for domain fee. I bought "mywebsearches" in 2004 and just started using it in October, 2006.
