    Some minor facts about some US Presidents.

    --->Abraham Lincoln’s son, Robert Todd Lincoln, was present for the assassinations of three U.S. presidents: Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley.

    --->John Quincy Adams (1825–1829) owned a pet alligator and kept it in the East Room of the White House.

    --->Theodore Roosevelt’s (1901–1912) mother and wife died on the same day.

    --->Every U.S. president who had a beard was a Republican.

    --->Gerald Ford (1974–77) was the only president who wasn’t elected as president or vice president.

    --->Woodrow Wilson is the only president to hold a Ph.D. (from Johns Hopkins in Political Science, 1886).

    --->President William Henry Harrison was president for only 32 days before he passed away.
