Hi I just got an email from Google. Looks like I'm getting extra 300 channels now! Sweeeeeet ))) Not sure if all publishers get those extra channels, it's some sort of beta testing. Who else got them?
Yes I have the higher limit also . Google have been rolling it out over the past few months, not all publishers have had their limits raised to 500 yet, only ones that they have individually selected.
when I first started I was using them even for different ads on the same page. at that point I didnt know that there is a limit, so many channels were wasted.
well i am a newbie to adsense , what do you mean by channels, i think i am having only 200 channels , but dont know what it is?
You can use those channels for various things... - if you want to research on various ad blocks then name them through channels. - you can have page specific research through channels. now it is integrated with analytics so if you have both linked together then you can see these in analytics as well - if you have multiple websites on same pub id then create diff channels on diff website and add the code to your websites to reflect the pattern on adsense report.
well thanks for the reply well i am also planning to block some unwanted ads in my site , hope it can be done with this
