BBSes as in Bulletin Board systems (not forums) where you would dialup into this system to use for chat and playing games and other cool stuff. I used to be pretty involved with a local one in my school years. The BBS had these really cool character based strategy games which I remember being addicted to. Bordello was another good one Used to have BBS meetups all the time too. Any DPers used to dialup to BBSes? Were they that popular?
