I used to all the time, till I got an email from Google.

 

Nope Never!! Not worth getting banned......

 

Ive always wondered what would happen if i did, how quick they would notice but never had the guts XD

 

Over the years I have made several accidental clicks. It is not a problem as I never received payment from them. They must not give credit for clicks from your own IP.

 

I've done it many times accidently. I always send a quick email letting them know just in case I get banned

Only ever made accidental clicks. Always informed them of the stupid circumstances under which it happened. (Like once i was editing a page. Went to refresh the page and got my hand stuck on the keyboard causing me to click directly on an advert)

They took it well and sent me a thank you.

As for clicking my own ads just to earn extra. Well its not worth it for me to risk my account. And it certainly isn't cool to rob the advertisers, who in turn might choose a different ad network that none of us can get into Taking their high paying clicks with them.

Just a random thought by a guy with too much time on his hands.

I am glad for this posts. I also think that own clicks are not worth to be banned from adsense.

 

Yes i have several accidental clicks and I received payment from them. Bu I try not to do so.

 

Depends on how many times you click your ads and how many clicks you get in a day.

If you keep clicking every second day, you will get banned for sure.

Premium publishers with a large staff (working on the site) will be getting accidental clicks quite often.

Such sites may get away with a few dozen accidental clicks a month.

 

at the beginning I clicked on my own ads....just to see how quickly Google reacts. I had a CTR of 600%, I've made something like 300clicks (lol)!
The second day, my account was disabled.
I sent them an email, apologized, discussed with them and they re-enabled my account.
That was ~2years ago.
I wouldn't do that again now.

Well, I've accidentally clicked it a year ago, and had got the warning from the Big G team...

Better stay away from clicking it, as this kind of work will hurt you in the end.

You should not click on your adsense adds if you would like to make money with adsense. You will be banned sooner or later.

 

For once or twice I guess Google will just get over it as tons of people didn't get into trouble when they tried to click at their own ads
