I have some exprience from China orders. There is Alibaba.com where you can make some orders. Remember that you will have to wait up to 2 months for delivery
I get a trinket on ebay from time to time. I always just get little things that cost a dollar or two. They are always cheap junk that lasts a week before it breaks, but at that price I pretty much expect this to happen. What I always find surprising when the item comes in the mail is that the postage is always $0.00. How are the Chinese getting free international postage, meanwhile I can't even file my taxes without spending $1 on stamps.
Im working in a company who import RC goods from China, Mostly RC Nitro engine Cars from Hong Kong. SO far business is well, products are good enough, Only problem is language communication with the suppliers, but still we are doing great, China is a great country btw, they have really enthusiastic people who wants to do business with others.
I bought some products from China back when I had my ebay bussiness. Sent them from China to the USA. But it wasnt that much so i used UPS to deliver. Product didn't sell that great though it was unbranded stuff. But you can never buy branded stuff directly from China anyway. And it's a drag to deal With Chinese guys you need to explain stuff a few times. Can be good though if you brand them as your own and can sell for profit.
Everything in the world is made by China, open up your mobile and see it's battery - do you see made in China? Most of them do so.
I am Chinese, work as Import Procurement Specialist in Canada. I have established the relationship with many Chinese factories, I am happy to become your purchasing agent if possible.
I ever bought several times from China. In China, I have one younger female cousin. Usually, I visited her one time per half year. She will buy something in China and then send to me
Absolutely. If you find quality suppliers, they truly get the job done. You will find rotten apples in any country and people start generalizing very quickly when it comes to foreign entities. If you go to a shady seller that has no ratings/reviews and has that great piece of equipment up for chump change, please use your common sense. It is a fake and will leave you down a few bucks and without a product or a product that is a complete knock off.
Yes, I think many people worry about quality of product from that country, right? To me, some I bought was good quality as it was from some where else, but some wasn't. If the product control by international standard, it will be made out with quality as well.

My friend gifted me a key chain which was bought at china, the design was too good..still now i am using that key chain
I do not think it is worth it to directly go to China to just buy some LED lights. If it were some big business transaction involving at least over $15,000 then may be I would consider it.
We search eBay for "sexy lingerie" all the time and each thing is like $3 with free shipping... That would cost $40 in VictoriaSecrets... they take like 2-3 weeks to arrive, but we have packages showing up every few days.
