Did Scotland Make the Right Decision in Releasing the Lockerbie Bomber?

    Erm... because the crime occurred on Scottish soil (well, airspace).
    I think they should have kept him in. He should get the same level of compassion he gave the Lockerbie families by evading justice for 12 years before his trial. Diddly squat.

    I was ignorant of the details until I watched the national geographic documentary I posted in this thread. I've heard about the bombing for a long time but have never really known the details. For some reason I thought the plane came down in a sea or ocean and not literally in a small scottish town named Lockerbie.

    All I know is that Craig Ferguson is funny, Braveheart kicks ass and kilts are the manliest form of a skirt a man could ever wear.

    The alleged Libyan bomber is finally freed by Scotland. Scotland has done a wonderful job, giving him one more opportunity to live in the world as before, love his neighbours, love the nation and love his family.
