Did Receive Links Work for Anyone

The link request thread has the original post that started back on Aug. 1, 2006 and ran over 170 posts long. I was slow to the draw and let my 500 points expire, but finally got to playing with it. I would like to see comments as to whether Receive Links actually helped anyone.

Yep I have seen their forum, but I found no comments about success or failure. Maybe I didn't dig enough. I just thought after all the buzz here that folks at DP would have some input.:)

I am doing very well. I use RL solo on some sites and in combination with our link building methods on others. My SERPs position has gone up for keywords targeted!

I started to use it about 3 months ago and I am slowly climbing the SERPs up. I think it works well but you should not place too many ads at once.

i have seen minor gains on some old sites in google

but I havn't been in it long enough to see the effect on a yahoo update

the links role out is pretty slow so it , in my opnion, take awhile to see the effects even if you set 3 ads at 20 links each thats 60 links a day divide that by like 5 (or more) links on each site, thats like new links on say 12 new sites a day

thats 360 new sites linking to you in a month, which isn't that many in compettive field, add the time the search engines take to add the link

you might not see many gains for like 4-6 months

I have had similar success to ferret since my last post and seeing some very nice gains in MSN, Yahoo, Google and even ASK. hehe! :p

I strongly recommend people try Receive Links if they have not yet.

It gets my vote... I discovered it after I'd been using Link Vault, and I have to say it is much better (though I'm keeping LV too).

Unlike linkvault, receivelinks code supports ASP.NET.
