Did PageRank Change Today?

I'm not one to talk about PageRank but my PR3 site went to 0 today - did anything happen today or is my toolbar just fucked?

I don't sell links or buy links what the hell

 

Maybe the tool you are using is broken? Try a different one.

 

No PR update change yet
Just some penalizations for some suspecting site
Just saw some site dropped from PR4 to PR2

You have alot of popups and affiliate banners .
this can be the cause

One popup code and 3 cpm banners (since when were they classed as trying to cheat PageRank)?

I guess I'll give up link exchange, directory submissions and only use adsense to monetize my site from now on. That's what this recent change has told me.

I wouldn't go that far. It mybe a glitch in the system that gets fixed over the next week. Give it a little time before making a final decision.

 

Link exchange can be a cause .. because i had the same experience.
but for the directory submission ,, this is new for me.
are you sure that the directory submissions is one the causes of pr drop /?

I don't think so also. The recent Google updates was still new. Predict around 1 month more before next update.

He probably used SPR's toolbar to check PR.
