That background pic is awful, it doesnt really tile properly and stings my eyes when I look at it. Hard to compare it to what you had before since I've never seen your site, but if I browsed onto your site with that pattern its an instant "back" from me here!
The background is a little bit of a strain on the eyes, a solid one would be better and the red on green in the sidebar is a little hard on the eyes also, that could just be me though.. I think you should have posted this in the reviews section really
Yes you overdid it...it's just what Vic mackey and uglyboy said...Green it's ok as a christmas theme...red also...but not mixed together Remove that background ASAP
i think a combination of red and green is not bad, it reminds me of true christmas, you just need to, at lease change or lighten the green, or the red, to make if more good to see.
