    Hey everyone,

Ok so here's what happened. I've recently set up a wordpress blog, and bough another domain so instead of my site being something like... Monkeyman22.wordpress.com it now says Monkeyman22.com (that's just an example). Now with the new doman, Monkeyman22.com, I thought I would be able to put adsense and stuff on it. Apparently I can't.

Does anyone know if I can transfer that domain to another hosting service, and then get wordpress.org? Did I just waste my money? Please help!!!

    Thanks,
    Monkeyman

No you can't, even if you get a new domain and point it to the wordpress.com domain.

You need to get some hosting space, my sql database and download Wordpress.

And no you didn't waste money. Just copy your content to the new site, once you get hosted and Word Press downloaded, and "Rock on!"
Self Hosting your blog is the best move you can make if you are serious about monetizing it.

Ok cool. Will I be able to have the same domain that I just bought on Wordpress? Will I be able to transfer the domain to another hosting thing?

I have never purchased a domain through word press, but I would assume that you can do what ever you wish with it after you get your hosting set up.
