I was selling a domain+templates+sites package when this member offered me BIN for them, he payed fast and I sent the domain immediately. the member is babloo He sent me the payment from Clemmie Scott's paypal account and now my funds have been limited due to an investigation in unauthorized payments. the whois details I sent the domain to were to Pradeep Rathinam 15457 SE 60th Place Bellevue, WA 98006 United States I also just noticed that the buyer had another 4 transactions today... Now the weird thing is that I googled clemmie scott and this came up http://www.linkedin.com/pub/7/18b/866 (Look at the experience part)... I sent all details of the transaction to paypal and hopefully I will get my money back. Ironically, the reason I was selling them was because I was short on money and I wanted to pay my hosting fee's. (now it looks like I'm out of money and I lost my domains as well...) Until then, I would strongly advise you that you stay away from this user as it seems that he has been buying things with a hacked paypal account. Looks like he sent u payment from hacked account,u cannot do anything now,paypal will reverse the payments in few days.Try to contact your domain company and see if they can do anything.
Wow, that really is bad. Thankfully I haven't had anyone do that to me. Worst that has ever happened is some people didn't pay me as they promised they would after I delivered the articles. -Vish.
this is sad, pay pal at times could be a pain in the ass to not in your case exactly but they have limited my account too
I will say do keep tracking that domain name and when ever you find any site on that just mail hosting company about this and they will close him account . If you cant get back anything atleast teach him good lesson .
Scammers target DP because of the huge traffic per day. It's really sad On one side, we are celebrating because DP's got more than 200,000+ members and on the other side, we complain each day about scammers But Life goes on...................
i have been telling peoples to be careful before selling domains... but looks like no one ever bother reading my old post... anyway i am really sorry to hear about this and there is nothing you can do to get back your domain... i wish you would have contant me before you have made this deal... but now its too late...
