hello all, i need your help, i promoted my site - www.p-card.co.il with links from other sites, blogs, forums and article submissions. my site did pretty well and got to google's 2nd page with the keyword כרטיסי ביקור my site follows all google's rules and instructions. suddenly my site disappeared and went back to position 70. how did this happen ?? what went wrong ??
Your site is certainly not banned - it wouldn't be in the index at all if it had. Dropping 50+ places is not normal flux though, so it could be due to one of the following reasons: 1) Some of your backlinks have been devalued 2) You are linking out to sites in a bad neighborhood 3) Duplicate content has been found on your site Check all the sites you link out to & make sure you can vouch for their quality. If not, add the no-follow tag or remove the link completely. Also make sure that the content on your site is unique. For the devalued backlinks, it's a little harder. You can try checking for sites that used to have PageRank & now are PR0 or PRNA. That's usually a sign that the site isn't favourable to Google any more. Also, if the sites you have links on used to rank for certain terms - check if they still do. If they have dropped rankings, that's another sign the site isn't favourable to Google anymore. If either or both these things have happened, remove your links from the site. Lastly - build more links. You need to constantly aquire new links. If you stop for any length of time, your site can dramatically drop in rankings. hth
I don't think - your site got banned. Its because of Google's updates or because of loss of some backlinks. Keep doing link building for your site. Try to add quality relevant backlinks for your site. PR 0 means PageRank 0; PR NA means PageRank Not-available
the wierd thing is that when iam doing a search site:www.p-card.co.il it shows all my pages except the most value page to me, הדפסת כרטיסי ביקור i dont get it..
I don't think your site has banned. site:www.p-card.co.il, 243 pages are showing. My suggestion is to use Google Webamaster Tool, verified your website and check if any loop hole.
Your site got a penalty....don't ask how. check for yourself http://www.seopenalty.com/ probably for building links too quickly
how does it works .. i entered very respect sites and got very high penalty also but they are 1st in google and google himself show has banned ..
if you are in 70 position - that means that you are not banned ! relax! it only mean that you need to do some more SEO + Google can put your site up again after ~1 - 2 weeks!
i think my link got tagged as span by google algorithm, iam usaully placing links in all bookmarking sites. i think i need one or two high quality links to work this out.
