Did I get Sandboxed?

I registered my site a little over a month ago and it was slowly picking up in rankings. I did a decent amount of link buliding and as I build links my rankings for those keywords went higher and higher. Then I added an extra paragraph on one page of my site along with building about 6-12 more links. The following day my rankings vanished. I went from getting 200-300 uniques from google a day for this site to 0-2. Did I get sandboxed?

Ouch, reminds me of an experience I had too. I had a review page for water4gas products that was miraculously on the first page of the google search, and then stupidly I changed a paragraph to make it seem more "seo friendly" and then BAM, off google search completely. At least you learned a valuable lesson!

Yes you are now in the sandbox. Next time make changes more slowly so that it appears natural (but even this doesn't always help)

So what can I do to get out of it? Will removing the paragraph help? How much more slowly do I make changes, site was up 2 weeks later I put up another paragraph and in between I added links.

Would removing the paragraph help fix rankings or it's best to leave the site alone?

i find you can get sandboxed for more or less anything. most of the time its just because your a brand new site more than anything.

i would just carry on building links and adding content as you would ifd nothing had happened.

also petition for reinclusion on google webmaster tools.

I got out of the sandbox I guess, I'm ranking again, or google had a shuffle.

get more links as well, if you have a lot of links pointing to your site, it makes your site hmm more "trusted". It can help you get out of that deadly box :D
