Did I get ripped off by Dotster?

I purchased a .com domain from dotster and in the process, used a coupon code that's supposed to bring down the cost to $1.

    In the e-mail I received I see:

I checked my paypal and see:

What in the world is 'Authorization' type of activity? Will I get that $14.95 back?

I mailed them and can only hope to get a reply.

My guess is they will refund that $14.95 back automatically in the next 2-3 days.. I've used them to register a number of domains in the past, and never had an issue with them - They're a legit company, if that's your concern.

If that coupon is good for multiple uses, please PM me the code, as I've got a few more domains I need to register. Thanks! :)

I've seen posts relating to problems with this coupon when used in conjunction with PayPal on a number of sites. It seems to be a conflict between Dotster's order process and PayPal, and they will definitely take quick action to refund your money. I agree 100% with Cartman; Dotster is as legit as they come.
