I am part of a football club in the UK that plays at a semi-pro level (you have professional, non-league and then semi-pro), I have handed over £200 and in return they will print my blog's url on their football shirts and place banner links on their web sitee and Facebook pages.

In a season the team will play about 40 league games, will enter into 3 cup competitions, will receive write-ups and have pictures taken for various local papers and online football web sites.

Most teams at this level will keep their kits for more than one season, so my blog url will remain on their kit for like 2 seasons.

Do you think I got a sweet deal?

I'd say it depends on how well they do..if they lead the division, then I'd say hell yeah, for local stuff anyway.

It sounds like a good deal, but hope for a great season. If they have a bad season, you won't see much publicity.

The division they are in is pretty weak and wwe have some really good talent. The team are entering national cup competitions so we will get some exposure nationally as well as locally.

What is ironic is that the team will have "I Need Discipline" on their shirts when some of the players "me included" have a very bad discipline problem on the pitch! :D
