    You are wrong there. Google updates PR all the time. But it only updates the visual PR every blue moon. For example this post might be PR10 at the moment but you won't know it until the next update.

    When I was a newbie noob at DP I too used to get all excited at DP at the slightest hint of a PR update and start a thread like this. I am wiser now :)
