Did google just penalize it's own site?

    my site isn't worth 1,65 billion dollars but I still outrank youtube in PR :)

    I must admit that I always thought YouTube shouldn't have a high PR as its not really an authoritative site. Its a very popular entertainment site. So it shouldn't really rank high for many keywords.

    PR isnt about traffic, its a measure of a sites authoritativeness?

    Apparently a lot of sites that link back to you tube lost pagerank, which in effect would make youtube lose pagerank :D

    unfortunately if you're seeing a different PR (higher or lower) in other data centers than the current PR showing in your toolbar that is what your new PR will be once the update is complete, I tell you this from experience. :)
