I went from ranking in the top five for all major keywords and many long tails to ranking on the second page now for major keywords and alot of my longtails are gone. There are still terms i rank for but those are terms that dont bring alot of traffic. Can someone give me a couple of ideas what might have happened.

I used to rank in the top five for these major terms

    Fort Worth Texas Real Estate
Fort Worth Tx Real Estate Still at #5 but was #1 for 8 months.
    Fort Worth Real Estate

I still rank #1 for terms like this
    http://www.google.com/search?q=tower%20fort%20worth%20TX
    http://www.google.com/search?q=premiere%20communities%20alexandra%20meadows
    http://www.google.com/search?q=lofts%20and%20condos%20in%20downtown%20fort%20worth&oe=UTF-8
    http://www.google.com/search?sa=X&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=lakefront%20property%20azle%20texas&spell=1

There are so many reasons why you might lose rankings in search listings. From algorithmic changes to loss of backlinks. Proper on-page optimization can also be an issue if algorithmic changes did take place. I believe in another thread I referenced someone to my SEO analysis and you posted this same question in there, you can review that thread if interested. I suggest you continue your daily process of adding content and building backlinks, there is no reason why you should stop and spend all your time worrying about this situtation.
