Did Google ban me?

I can't connect to their website (www.google.com) it keeps saying, "connection timed out", if I use a proxy, (hide my ip) it connects just fine. I've never done anything to violate any TOS as far as I know, I opened an adsense account a few months ago, started a website and only made literally a few dollars so I stopped that and haven't messed with it since I've been busy. I don't really even use google to search, I've always used yahoo and am just used to the interface so always use yahoo. I can't get to my adsense or adwords account either. I can get to adwords sign up page, but it doesn't log me in automatically as it used to, I don't see a place that says I can login, it just says, "sign up". What's going on?

It's working fine with me, Check your connections status and make sure your ISP is not blocking you from accessing specific websites.

I don't think it's a Google side problem at all, never heard of Google Banning an IP, check your your hosts file and your filewall. Maybe you've blocked it by mistake.

They won't ban your IP. It could be a problem with your local node, although I would assume there would be some other DP'ers from your area on here complaining about Google going down. Restart your router and try again. If it still doesn't work, you'll just have to wait it out.

    1. Restart your router.

If that doesn't work, try a reboot.

I'll restart my router, and reboot.

Some responses to what people said. How can it be my internet connection, if it works fine if I go through a proxy?

Also I didn't block anything by mistake, I don't mess with that stuff. I just use win xp's default firewall, and that's it.

I was thinking do you think it could be due to me using Keyword Elite too much? Since the last week I've been using keyword elite quite a bit, creating 10,000 word keyword lists regularlly. Maybe if I'm connecting to their servers too many times they think I'm doing something "fishy".

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate this. I'm confused with what's going on, I dont really use Google at this time, but I think it would be necessary in the future when I understand this business. I'm not going to be able to do anything with my knowledge if I can't get to Google.com!!!

I disconnected my router and restarted my computer, and reconnected my router. It's working now! I can connect to Google.

Wow, was that a scare. Thanks again to everybody that helped me out with this, I understand you all have better things to do than troubleshoot internet connections! Thanks again!! Sorry for any inconvienence.
