Did Google ban all .cc domains or just co.cc?

I'm trying to find out because I'm starting my Halo 4 website on the domain http://halo4.cc

Are .cc domains banned from Google and are they even trusted by the general public?

 

Only .co.cc as they were free. I believe .cc is paid.. isnt it ?

 

Google de-indexed all the *.co.cc only.
As .cc[Cocos Islands TLD] are paid domains, they are trusted by general public and are not much misused.
