Wouldn't be surprised. I stay well clear of paypal now a days. Its way to easy to get paypal to reverse transactions for no reason at all.

I had over £1000 reversed by them even though I provided them with proof of the transaction, i.p addresses, logs, emails everything.

Yeah, plus the paypal fees might have changed their mind too, even though they probably got a better rate.

As recently as a couple of days ago namecheap were still accepting paypal if this is the only way you can pay for your domain names.

I don't really mind, but it was nice to have, little quicker to check out.

That is actually very annoying for one of my businesses. I use the paypal account as my main reservoir of money with money coming in from subscriptions and frequently pay godaddy with my palpay account on file. Oh well, i'll just use the paypal debit card linked to the account

I just registered a domain name this morning and the paypal link was still there. Just my $0.02 worth.

    Ned,
If you had proof of transaction how come they did they not fight for you the merchant? That is worrisome to me as I am trying out the new merchant online credit card processing - PayPal Pro.
    Thanks,
    Carol

Godaddy getting rid of paypal.. I was too worried for a second. Its really a hard job to get money from paypal transferred to your bank account. I like th eoption to spend it online.

Frankly speaking I for the one will vouch for the terrible customer service of paypal, they really sucks at that department.

Anyways, godaddy still accept paypal payment, atleast from me hehe ;)

HHHmm.... I just renewed a bunch of domains this afternoon an no PayPal link available during the checkout. Interesting, though, that several of my auto-renewals still show up as PayPal for the payment type.

Looks like it is back on the landing page now.
    https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/prepayment/landing.asp?se=%2B&ci=297

Still kind of strange they should have said why it was down or just had it say temp disabled.

Exactly my point to them, 2 of the 3 ppl who reversed transactions on mine were trying to pull a fast one, they even told me they were going to do it before they did (forwarded that email to paypal aswell).

Even though I provided every single bit of information they asked for they still did it. Given up on them now.

Yeah, it's definitely back again. I just renewed another batch of domains and the PayPal option is back. The "PayPal on file" option makes life so much easier. :)
