Did FB Likes Increase Sites Search Engine Ranking?

I have a 5 months old website and after doing 2 months of link building I was able to bring it to page 1-rank#10 for one keyword then I stopped doing links until now. It stays there for 3 weeks before it bounced back to page 2 -rank #14 and it stays there until last month my site was hacked and it took 5 days before it was totally back to normal. I lost my ranking and PR (its PR1 from last google pagerank update). 2 weeks after it was repaired from hacking, my sites ranking return to page 2 - rank #15. I didn't do any link building except that I increase my facebook likes from 40 to 160, tweets from 75 to 95 and google+1 from 5 to 12. And just last week, my site ranks page 1 - rank#9. Do you think facebook likes increase my search engine ranking?

 

I have seen no evidence that Facebook likes increase ranking. However your links in Twitter may be helping you.

 

the google +'s will increase your rankings for people inside of the network of people that +'d your site.

 

As of now, I will continue to increase the numbers of those 3 social media shares until december to see if sites serp will increase. I will stop any link building first.

Google index Facebook post but there is no clear evidence if Google consider the number of likes, anyway it somehow helps in Social Media Marketing and Branding.

 

Google + and Face Book both helps to get the PR. actually all of the social media helps you to get the PR.

I think, FB like is really affected on SERP (search engine result page). because with like in FB, automatically that person share in his/her wall. and that is backlink..

Yes, it has chances to increase your PR as your "like" link will be shared in each and evry profile..

 

Of course facebook likes helps to increase your websites rank coz it sends huge amount of traffic is you understand fanpage nicely.

Well I believe neither facebook likes nor twitter is helping you getting the ranking higher, it must be the people who have liked your fan page and tweet or retweet about your links. The visitors must be getting you more and more traffic and helping you in rankings

 

I wasn't aware of this... I guess I should put more effort in this field.
