I haven't been in the loop with what has been going on with Build A Niche Store, but it looks like they have either changed ownership or have completely redone their business model. The site used to be well designed, now it's a mile long with big text and too many screenshots, and it's all over the place in terms of their message and purpose... Also, the Forums are no longer linked from the front page, did they remove the forums? I was also utterly shocked to see that they recommend phpBay on one of their pages, which has been their biggest competitor practically since they first existed I'm just interested to know what's happening with this software package...it was the thing that first got me into affiliate marketing. The only reason I noticed is because I used to be linked to from their gallery/example page (ever since they first came out, which was over 2 years ago) and was getting big traffic because of it, and all of the sudden my traffic tanked like a rock. I then noticed that they removed the customer gallery page entirely. I guess good things never last forever.
The owners put the whole site up for sale a few weeks ago and then did an about turn and decided to redevelop the site, the program and the concept. This is still ongoing and you should be receiving regular updates from K & A. The forum is here although I admit it's not easy to find. http://www.nichesitebuilding.com/forum/
