They were showing a bit on SEO and internet marketing. Went through a few google bombing and keyword stuffing concepts. Why would they show something like this? Im sure 99% of the people just switched the channel... But anyways, they also showed a few interviews with some SEO guys and one of them said that having over 100 pages is a major factor in SEO... WTF!? First time i hear about this.

Nope, didn't see it as no tele, but I just read this new article on the BBC site on black hat SEO. Seems to be similar to what you saw on BBC News. I'm pleased a mainstream news provider is giving an insight to the general public on such things.

I dont thing general public cares much. When someone asks me what i do, i just say internet marketing. If i go into any more detail most people stop being so interested. :D

That 100 pages requirement does not make sense, for example if you have wordpress or some dynamic site installed, how its going to count the pages, i mean most of these programs have tons of links.

i don't think, thats true either

That's what i thought. Why could not they pick someone from DP for an interview?

If he was to say:" Having more than one page could be beneficial" i would understand but where did he get the 100 pages from?
