The thing is that thers no way to get around them. The targeted serch traffic is coming from this long as hell 3 word key phrase, but this makes title optimization rather troubling. Any one has any advice on how to handle long keywords? Especially is some words remain static eco wooden floors costume wooden floors etc.
Hi Anthony, Around 80% of your online visibility will come from backlinks so this would be the way forward to getting to the top of Google considering if your on-site aspects are relatively good. The idea behind longer keywords is that it is normally less competitive (in some cases, not all) therefore your website should require less optimisation than shorter keywords such as wooden floors. I would work on your backlinks from ethical, high PR websites which will give you that boost to get up there, three word keywords should not be too hard to put onto your page in the title, meta description or actual content, just don't stuff your page with keywords or it will damage your reputation with the search engines.
well some times thers no way of getting around mentioning the key phrase 2 times but that should not be a death sentence for the trust rank I hope...
your struggle will depend on the profitability of the keyword. more profitable a keyword is, higher the competition is. all internet marketers know how to do keyword research and find profitable keywords to target. those who don;t know hire seo guys to do the keyword research for them. more profitable the keyword is, therefore the harder the competition is. i have 5 word keyword that i face fierce competition with cause the product name is 4 word long itself and due to the profitability, i see few major players there. so as you can see, its not the fact that longer the keyword, lesser the competition. all depends on how profitable the keyword is which determines the level of competition.
So how does a keyword phrase containing 3 keywords make optimizing the <title> element difficult? I don't understand your questions. Yes, it may still be difficult to rank for that 3 word keyword phrase because it might be very competitive, but the fact that there are 3 words in the targeted phrase does not make optimizing the <title> element any harder. Now, if you're trying to make a single page rank for lots of 3 word keyword phrases your <title> could get long. But you should probably have separate pages for those phrases anyway so that each can have its own title, h1, etc. unless they are VERY closely related - essentially synonyms for the same thing.
I'm sorry if I stated my question slightly misleading and I suppose the real struggle was managing with high competition levels on low-volume key words because the site operates in narrow niche and the product name is 3 words longs and has only 3 synonym variations But thank you every one for your answers kinda helped me to straighten my thoughts out...
