I have not noticed this, I think this is happening because google is making some major changes in their algorithm.
I have noticed the same thing on a few sites, people on places like WebmasterWorld and SearchEngineRoundtable have been reporting similar things. Google seems to be doing some rollbacks and big changes.
Hi ... yup, lost all pages, which haven't returned, yet. Also lost all but 5 back links, with about 40% now back. Weird. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Seems to be age related to me - least in my case. Three of my older blogs are still indexed. Two are over a year old - one of them hasn't moved in the SERPs at all and the other is still ranking for it's main keyword but it seems some of its deeper pages have dropped out of the index. The third is only a few months old. It's still indexed but it's dropped in the SERPs somewhat. Everything else has dropped out of the index in the past couple days, and all those sites are less than a month and a half old. One of those sites was actually rising up in the SERPs pretty quickly over Memorial Day weekend. My guess is they're starting to put a heavier influence in how long a site has been around.
no any google bug, but i have experience major deindexing and reindexing problem since last few days... But now it's good for me.
i already ask this type of que. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=856365 so i am not alone
Exactly the types of things i'm seeing also, along with the newer sites hit hardest i'm also seeing older sites that have had large SERP gains in the last month or less hit. All the Bebo, FotoLog type spam still remains and the legitimate sites that hold value to users queries get taken out. No wonder people buy Xrumer and make their money with 1,000s of spam domains.
It seems like a case of tossing the baby out with the bathwater. One would assume these constant algo tweaks are to rid the index of spammers and garbage, but more and more i'm seeing good sites scrapped and these one week old pages with 100k backlinks still ranking page 1 for terms like Viagra. I'm seeing 100's of Google Groups Pages spammed to the hilt ranking, now if that's not rubbing their noses in it i don't know what is.
