Did adding AdSense lower my position in SERP?

One thing to note: anytime you change the content of a page it may drop in the SERPs (hopefully) temporarily.

My reply included this statement... "unless it would deteriorate my search engines reputation by serving up crappy results.. Just my 2 cents."

I'm starting to feel like I'm back at Sitepoint with Stymee and the bunch! Everytime you throw a comment out there for the sake of a comment, you have to defend it! Thats why I started comming over here instead... Just making discussion about webpages, seo, etc... No, I wouldn't literally do what I mentioned, but it is some food for thought.. Thats all... As far as legally, No, I know very little about law, but, if I did own Google or Yahoo, it would be my site, I would do as I please, bring on the class action suit. I would owe nobody a listing or any particular ranking. Sort of like my image hosting site, if users upload a picture I dont like, I delete it... My site, my rules. Of course, this is more food for thought.

For the record, I started comming here to avoid these debates and the constant nit-picking, if I wanted to always debate, I'd be hanging out at Sitepoint. Please don't start picking apart all of my comments because it is the norm at other forums. Some of the things I post, are to only casually converse with other webmasters (beginner, intermidiate, advanced) , make new friends, learn some things, teach some things, and also alot of bull"crapping" around.

    Wheres the "ignore" button???
