    Last week I downloaded DirectX SDK on my Dialup, it was 457mb. It took me two days to download it.

    Here I've got a screeny...... In 19 hours I downloaded only 266mb :eek::eek:...

    If broadband was available here why would I've been using the damn dialup :(?

    The only way to get faster internet here is through SATELITE. No other way :(

    I feel so sorry for you. I have no idea what I would do without my high speed connection

    Wow.... I'm feel sorry for you. When I use dialup before, I never download anything more than 50MB file.

    I get dropped to dialup speed once my cap is hit.

    When I see I'm nearly over I go get the razor blades ready...

    @farooqaaa - I feel your pain. I was on dialup last week while I was waiting for ADSL to be connected to my new house. Not much fun at all.
    I remember back in the 90s when we'd download ISOs, it took DAYS AND DAYS.

    Dialup is a pain in the azz :(

    If I were using Dial Up, my dad would take me out and hang me when the bill comes :)
    - this is only cause there was a powercut.

    I don't know what I'd do without my highspeed Internet. We have a guy at work and that is all he has and he is really frustrated because he is attending several online classes and has to go to the library or other location to sit through his classes.
