Dhoni banned for 2 ODIs

Friends Dhoni has been banned for the next two ODIs because India maintained a slow over-rate during the second match against Sri Lanka in Nagpur, according to electronic reports.

Now what do you say guys? Who will be leading Indian team? most probably Gambhir or Sehwag I guess.

 

Yuyps.. thats really said.. I just saw in news.... Its too harsh on dhoni... 2 matches..
And by the way the captain chosen now is GAUTAM GAMBHIR...!!!

No hard feelings for Dhoni but for his betterment! as you all here know about the bowling and fielding conditions of our side, critics are criticizing Dhoni only inspite of his thundering inning! Man now lets see how Indian team performs Without Maahi

It is too bad news to here. Yesterday we lost match and captain for next two games.

 

Yeah its very sad news for Indian Team. Now Shewag will take his position for next 2odi i think So. Yuvraj is also not be there. Well it will affect The Team But no problem Sachin and others are there to play.

He is experienced. He will lead the site

Being a Pakistani and a pak fan i did like India performance and i wish an pak-indo series soon on a neutral place

 

Sachin is above all. He is the greatest cricketer of the world and if he wants captaincy then nobody have power (even BCCI and selection committee) to regret
But the fact is he himself doesn't want to lead the team. Its his nature
Gambhir is our new captain for time being!
He is reliable as well as aggressive.

2 match ban is a very harsh ban! Has ICC been consistent with the level of punishment it gives out to all captains?

I have seen number of such instances of slow over rate but have never heard about such stricter punishment before!

Well actually I guess this ban is given partially for slow over rate. Part of this ban is because of Dhoni's inconsideration behavior for umpires. They did warn Dhoni twice I guess about slow over rate but He never responded!

 

Sehwag i8s going to head india for the next 2 odi in dhoni's absence. sad news for india.

 

Well nothing harsh one, India did it many times and I was expecting it as we have low over rate! I guess Sehwag will take captain role for next two ODIs.

 

Well I think Dhoni will be enjoying his holidays now
