Development ideas for MuchElse.com domain names?

    Hi all

I want to develop my name, MuchElse.com into a business

I also have the other main tld's of this name and many of the country specific domains

I've looked into several ecommerce business models including price comparison shopping engines, auctions, affiliates such as amazon astores, dropshipping etc and cannot decide the best way to go and the budget I should be allocating for the design, programming & marketing

I'm not interested in carrying my own stock to sell, and I don't want to be reliant on other wholesalers as a dropshipper either, so atm I like the idea of a comparison shopping engine such as pricerunner, pricegrabber, kelkoo etc

I'd really appreciate your advice on this, and/or any other ideas on what to do with the name.....thanks in advance

Don't give away ".and.MuchElse.com" because many subdomains can be added to that.

You shouldn't have to spend more than a few hundred for programming as many online companies sell software that can do exactly what you're looking for. Just make sure your installation is up to date and secure.

Honestly, I would put the rest of your money into marketing and get your name out there or else the (potential) monthly software and hosting costs could eat you alive.

You are going about this backwards, first you should come up with a business plan then get an appropriate domain for that business.

Buying multiple TLDs of a meaningless name is also a waste of money...you could have pooled all of that and bought one good name for development.

Spending hundreds on development at this point is just throwing good money after bad.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but no one else here is giving you any real info so I hope it helps!

I understand what you're saying & would agree if there were still plenty of good names to go around, but there aren't, so I've probably done it exactly the right way round - thanks anyway though
